THE MOST SIGNIFICANT TRANSIT OF 2022
The major transits of this season are include eclipse season during the zodiacal month of Taurus, Jupiter changing signs, a Mercury Retrograde in Gemini and the conjunction of Neptune and Jupiter. I want to focus on the conjunction of Neptune and Jupiter at 23-24º Pisces from April 9-16. I believe this is the most significant transit of the year, not just because I have four personal planets in Pisces… but because I think it holds the most transformative potential for us. This is a rare and wondrous planetary event. The highest potential of this energy certainly is beyond my imagination since Pisces is the realm beyond this one, and with the modern and ancient ruler coming together, we are in for some transcendent happenings and experiences. This is a time to commit to your Piscean endeavors whether that is your spiritual practice, creative and artistic projects, organizing for collective wellbeing, and of course deep ancestral healing and forgiveness. Pisces activates unity consciousness with all of humanity, creatures, plant relatives, spirit worlds, and perhaps even alien dimensions! So! We can remain open to new insights, greater allyship, and of course love that is unselfish, life affirming, and wise. Pay attention to your dreams, tend to them, renew your faith in them, ask them for guidance.
The slippery nature of Pisces is a very important to keep in mind during the first half of April. It is essential to ensure you have ways to stay grounded, present, and embodied. The dangers or imbalanced manifestations of this energy can lead us to indulge our fantasies and coping strategies that are more escapist and dissociating. We may want to believe what we want, about COVID, about our relationships, or realities of war & conflict in the world. I think Pisces can grow our love and creativity at the same time as our capacity to confront the truths, challenges and tragedies of our world. This will be especially potent for you if you have any personal planets or angles in the late degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or the other water signs. This is a moment of elevation for you!
For me personally, I find myself in the swamps of my life, where the inner and out conflicts are notable and feel tangled up in patterns of the past, intense overwhelm and desire to run! I know escape will only lead me right back to this same swampy mess, in the near and distant future… especially during this Pisces explosion. So! I’m reaching for my elders, my compassionate and steadfast friends, and my own capacity for spiritual understanding and compassion for myself and those around me. I’m reminding myself I gotta take my own advice and keep the highest potential of this energy at the center of my inner compass and grow my emotional capacity for ongoing difficulty. And of course saying yes to the opportunities presenting themselves to me for deeper connection with the elements and music.
